Can I send a picture?

Unfortunately, a picture is not sufficient to accurately assess every aspect of the instrument/bow and we would be unable to provide an accurate appraisal.

Can I just get a verbal appraisal over the phone?

Unfortunately, we need to be able to evaluate the instrument/bow in person before we are able to provide even an estimate.

My violin has a Stradivari label in it. What should I do?

There are thousands of violins in the world with a facsimile Stradivari label in them to represent that the instrument was modeled after a Strad. The chances of you actually having one, no matter how old the instrument might be, is highly unlikely. If you would still like an evaluation, we would need the instrument physically present before we are able to conduct an evaluation.
