Contact Care Representative
These integral members of our team work from our Contact Center in Ann Arbor fielding a high volume of inbound customer sales and service calls. In this position, you will serve as a knowledgeable, considerate, and consummately professional source of information for our customers, working with our world-class products team to answer customers' questions.
Customer Care Representatives can expect constant customer phone interaction, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Monday hours as well as as one Saturday are required per month. Full-time positions (35 hours per week or more) receive a full benefits package.
Showroom Representative
This position entails face-to-face interactions with customers at our Showroom in Ann Arbor. Our Showroom Representatives must be comfortable working with customers one on one. One of our more demanding positions from a musical perspective, each Showroom Representative must be able to read music and determine key signatures, tune string instruments, and speak to the features and advantages of the products we stock. You must also be computer literate and comfortable doing occasional onsite work at local high schools. One Saturday required per month. Full-time positions (35 hours per week or more) receive a full benefits package.
Instrument Technician
Our Instrument Technicians work in our Production Shop in Ann Arbor on student level instruments. Hours are 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate for this position is a reliable self-starter who enjoys working with their hands. Woodworking, jewelry making, or other hands-on experience is a plus. Experience playing a string instrument is preferred by not required. Meeting Shar Music instrument standards of quality control and high volume productivity deadlines are a must.
