I'm sure there will be mouse attachment housing for the controllers. What PC games that use a mouse would you like to see ported over on the Nintendo Switch 2 (NS2)? Pretty much any FPS and Diablo type game for me. I can see almost everything from Steam being brought over if devs want to code for it.
The Sims would be an excellent pick. Traditional controllers are awful for this game.
However I'm not sold on the mouse idea yet. How would they make it work without an appropriate surface? I don't know about you, but I never have a table near me when playing videogames, not to mention I usually lie down to play.

By lie down do you mean play handheld mode?
If so, then maybe the mouse functionality (if there is mouse functionality) just gets replaced with touch screen?
@NintendoDad Not necessarily, I also lie down when I'm playing in my TV from the couch if it's not an action-heavy game that requires more focus. But the point is that even if I sit "properly" to play, I still don't have any tables near me to use a mouse.

+1
That makes sense.
Just reading your reply it got me thinking . . . the Switch(2) has a lot of different ways to play.
A lot of different options for how different gamers want to play.
Handheld, Table Top, TV Mode. You can play by yourself, or with others. You can play connected to the Internet, or not connected to the Internet. You can play standing up, sitting down and laying down. Or jogging on the spot for that matter. And now it looks like you'll be able to play Switch 2 In a House with a Mouse!
Portal plays best with a mouse so I hope the portal collection gets updated to support the new controls.
All of Tomorrow's Corporation's games (World of Goo, Little Inferno, Human Resources Machine) play better on PC due to mouse controls so I hope we see those get updates.
Not a PC title, but any of the Pikmin games would play really well with mouse controls.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 would be so awesome, I would even take the new one coming out but with Ubisoft having the rights that's not going to happen. Would be awesome though right @Zuljaras?

I can't think of anything really...Maybe a Mario Paint 2? Ultimately, to me, aiming with a mouse feels backwards compared to a Wii remote plus using pointer controls with a sensor bar. But to each their own, i think it's great that Switch 2 now supports mouse controls for those that prefer it. I personally want the closest thing to VR when aiming a cross hair, and the Wii remote plus + Sensor bar, so far, is exactly that.
But ya, the option for a game to support analog stick aiming, Mouse aiming & and pointer motion control aiming(With a sensor bar that is, weather you're using the Switch 2 Joy-cons or S2 Pro controller) would please every body. No alienation!
Also, Nintendo totally needs to sell a plastic shell accessory that mimicks the shape of an actual mouse for the Switch 2 Joy-con. Nobody wants to hold and use a thin slab of plastic as a mouse. As of now, Switch 2's new mouse controls, and an 8" LCD/or OLED display are useless to me. Bring on the new advanced Pro Controller and surprise us with a sensor bar, this April, pretty please.
Yeesh, i wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo just made the Switch 1 Pro controller compatible and skipped creating a new one all together. I want an evolution in HD Rumble, adaptive+ triggers, improved d-pad accuracy, lower latency, and a couple of other unique ideas that we've never seen before thrown into the mix.
@Tasuki
Is there really no chance? The internet says, the ip is currently owned by Xbox Game Studios. I still have the original disks plus expansion but it would be nice to play it on newer systems.
All the strategy games, I prefer turn-based, but RTS too. Point-and-click adventure games. All the games that scream PC mouse and keyboard. The ones that reviews always say "the console controls are clunky", etc.
@Jhena Actually EA owns the Black and White IP not MS and EA has said that they have no reason to return to the game or IP on multiple occasions. While MS did purchase Lionhead Studios, who'd go on to make the Fable games, Black and White was not part of the deal.
