REVIEW VIDEOS
A fine example of early 20th century German violinmaking, this violin was made for the F. & R. Enders Company for distribution. Enders violins were available in varying levels of quality and this one was clearly one of their higher grades. Offering a sweet tone with a great level of depth, this instrument is ideal for the chamber musician or soloist looking to play intimate venues.

Paul Knorr, born in 1882, studied violinmaking with Dölling. Working in Berlin and Breslau, he established himself in Markneukirchen supplying violins to F. & R. Enders in 1918 for distribution. Starting in 1921, Knorr became an independent maker. His work is of a very high level of craftsmanship, highly respected for wood and material selection.
