Previously, every year, almost like clockwork...I would post a thread asking for ports of games you'd find on Playstation and/or PC to the Switch. Although the stream of ports coming to the original Switch isn't ending tomorrow, it's fair to assume that if it's a high profile game...it would've been brought to the original Switch long before now. Wouldn't you agree that several games have not been ported to Switch due to performance constraints, storage constraints, or whatever?
Anywho, with that said, what tops my list of wants and desires?
Guilty Gear Strive
A recurring choice for all the previous threads. Nintendo need to know the smell of the game.
Elden Ring
The game has sold over 25m copies now. I assume it's a shoe-in for a Switch 2 port.
Devil May Cry 5
May as well bring over the best in the series.
What games are you hoping to see on Switch 2 that were not available on the original Switch?
Switch Physical Collection - 1,381 games (as of January 19th, 2024)

I'm going to be tacky and obvious here, but I am hoping for GTA5 (still never played more than about 20 minutes on PS3), Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey & Valhalla, and the (semi) recent Tomb Raider trilogy. I'm also interested to try a modern Sims game. And an F1 game.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit : Modern Sims can go to hell. I would consider ports of the first two PC games in a heartbeat though (and/or the handheld games from the 2000s).
I would also love to see GTA IV and V on Switch, though they'd might as well save it for the next console so that we can enjoy the games in the best possible presentation (and with everything on the cart... a prospect that I am less optimistic about).
And speaking of Rockstar... how could I forget Bully... with the Wii version's motion controls making a triumphant return.
@pikku I'd welcome Sekiro. Unfortunately, Demon Souls and Bloodborne are exclusive to Playstation.

Assuming Suikoden is still coming to Switch one day, the other two games I have really always wanted to try are Mass Effect and the pre-Blade Xeno games.
Not really a want and moreso because it’d be cool, but Viva Piñata would fit the console. It’s still exclusive to Xbox, but I think Microsoft is considering porting some (not all) of their games to other consoles to reach a wider audience, and I think the Viva Piñata games would do well with Nintendo users, given the game is somewhat similar to Animal Crossing and is aimed toward casual players. I would say Rare Replay too, but I sort of don’t see it happening for some reason since a lot of the 360 games in there are separate downloads from the collection.

@JokerCK
These are some i would love to see, especially if they pull of the same magic they did with DQXI on switch 1.
aside from those and some rpgs switch missed out on (star ocean divine force, Tales of arise etc) i would love to see some of falcoms games get cross gen versions on switch 2 similar to how cold steel 1 and 2 came to ps4 and CS3-4, reverie and the daybreak games came to ps5 since i love the games but remember some of the switch ports definitely having issues.
when it comes to first party my most wanted is Xenoblade X bringing that amazing world back looking better than ever (also would be good for performance and load times since there would be no need for things like data packs when it comes to improvements)
My number one is a port of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess but with the graphics completely redone and optimised for the new hardware. They should be visually the best Zelda games ever made with control and quality of life improvements.
@Pastellioli : I suspect that Microsoft will go the way of Sega after this console generation and go third-party, so we might just get our hands on some of those Microsoft exclusives yet.
Porygon did nothing wrong.
